We donated 5 euros to charity as part of the Christmas campaign
This year, Forklift OÜ gave up traditional Christmas gifts to its dear customers and partners and donated the gift money to where it is most needed - for charity!
During the month of November, all our good friends and customers had the opportunity to choose between three charitable funds to which Forklift will make a donation at the end of the year: Children's Fund of Tartu University Clinic, Cancer Fund Gifted Elu and SEB Charity Fund. The most votes, 137 votes out of 251, totaled Tartu University Clinic Children's Fund!
Tartu University Clinic Children's Fund is a charitable foundation founded in 2000, being one of the largest and oldest charitable foundations operating at children's hospitals in Estonia. The fund supports hundreds of children in need of special treatment or care and their families, as well as the purchase of equipment for hospitals.
On December 9, a donation of 5 euros was also made to the account of the Children's Fund. Our marketing manager also went to the site to thank the Children's Fund team, because it is their daily work that helps donations reach those in need. In support of the words of thanks, the Children's Fund team was also given a lantern to light the way to those in need in this dark time.
