RMH VSL – reliable self-propelled feed mixer for professional farms

The RMH VSL is a compact and easy-to-use self-propelled feed mixer that combines feed milling, loading, weighing, mixing and dispensing into one complete work process. Available in 14, 16 and 18 m³ mixing volumes, the RMH VSL is suitable for small and medium-sized farms, collective farms and feed service providers.

The machine's 2000 mm wide spiral loading auger allows for quick loading of feed from a silo or feed pile. The specially shaped blades help maintain the structure of the material and the feed moves smoothly into the mixing tank via a rubber belt feed channel. The maximum working height of the auger reaches up to 4170 millimeters, depending on the model.

One vertical mixing auger, two mixing speeds and three hydraulically controlled counter knives ensure fast and uniform mixing results. The inside of the mixing tank is protected with stainless steel up to a height of approximately one meter to increase wear resistance during intensive use.

All VSL models are powered by a 218 hp six-cylinder Volvo diesel engine. The engine, hydraulic pumps and cooling systems are located at the rear of the machine, which simplifies maintenance and helps reduce noise in the cab. Bosch Rexroth hydraulics are used for the travel drive and a Sauer Danfoss system for the tiller and mixer.

Front-wheel steering and a 4250 mm wheelbase give the machine good manoeuvrability in farmyards, around silos and in barns. The VSL is available with a travel speed of 25 or 40 km/h, depending on the configuration.

Feed is discharged through a large hydraulic discharge gate on the left front of the machine as standard. A right-hand discharge gate and a movable or fold-up discharge conveyor are available as optional equipment.

The operator's work is made easier by the ergonomic driver's cab, Grammer Maximo XXL driver's seat, programmable weighing system and two cameras. One camera allows you to monitor the mixing tank and the other the rear of the machine when reversing.
