RMH Premium – high-performance twin-auger feed mixer

RMH Premium is a professional self-propelled feed mixer for medium and large dairy farms. The machine combines feed milling, loading, weighing, mixing and dispensing into one complete work process. The Premium model series has capacities ranging from 15 to 24 m³, depending on the market and configuration.

The main advantage of the Premium is two vertical mixing augers with overlapping working areas. The overlapping movement area of ​​the augers allows for the preparation of a uniform and airy feed ration and, if necessary, the mixing of smaller quantities with high quality, for example, a separate feed ration for dry cows or smaller groups of animals. Hydraulic counter knives add chopping power when needed.

The machine is powered by a 218 hp Volvo Penta Tier V diesel engine. The engine, hydraulic pumps and cooling systems are located at the rear of the machine, which simplifies maintenance and helps reduce noise entering the cab.

The spiral loading auger, which is over two metres wide, is equipped with 66 specially shaped blades. The auger design helps to maintain the structure of the feed material while ensuring high loading performance. The material is fed into the mixing tank via a 650 mm wide rubber belt feed channel.

Four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering give the Premium good traction and maneuverability in narrow barn aisles, silos and on uneven ground. Hydraulically sprung Carraro front and rear axles improve driving comfort and stability. Travel speed is up to 40 km/h, depending on the machine configuration.

Feed is dispensed as standard through a large discharge hatch on the left front of the machine. A stepless push-out conveyor allows for precise placement and even dosing of feed, reducing the risk of the machine running over feed that has already been dispensed.

The operator's work is simplified by an ergonomic cabin, Grammer Actimo XXL driver's seat, programmable I-Feed Good weighing system, and cameras for monitoring the mixing tank and the rear of the machine.
