RMH Trio – high capacity triple auger feed mixer trailer
The RMH Trio is a trailed feed mixer designed for large dairy farms and professional feeding centres. The model range includes versions with 30, 35, 40 and 45 m³ mixing volumes, suitable for feeding approximately 140–280 animals.
Three vertical mixing augers with overlapping working surfaces ensure that the feed material moves throughout the entire mixing tank. This solution helps to produce large quantities of TMR feed with a uniform composition and structure and improves the emptying of the mixing tank. The three-auger system is particularly suitable for farms where a large amount of feed needs to be prepared in one loading.
The machine has four counter knives for chopping the feed and the mixing augers are equipped with a total of 30 or 33 knives, depending on the model. Three reinforced mixing gearboxes and a 1000 rpm PTO drive are designed for intensive use and processing large amounts of feed.
Accurate dosing is ensured by a weighing system with six weighing sensors, with a declared accuracy of 1/1000. This allows the feed ration components to be weighed accurately and helps to keep the composition of the feed being prepared consistent between loadings.
The machine uses a tandem chassis with one fixed and one steered axle. The steered axle improves the maneuverability of the large trailer in the farmyard, around silos and in narrow passages. The six-position adjustable hitch eye allows the machine to be matched to different tractors.
Feed is dispensed via an electro-hydraulically controlled side discharge gate. The machine's dispensing system and other equipment can be supplemented with suitable additional solutions according to the farm's needs.
